About Ahmed
Ahmed
Hussein, born
on the 27th
of April 1976, El Mansoura, Egypt. Raised by his beloved
parents and family, the love of horses was planted from an early age by
his late grandfather whom was his great role model.
His grandfather, bought him his first pony back in 1983 and motivated him
to start his first riding lessons at Ferosia club at the same year.
Since then, Ahmed found himself in great admiration of this magnificent
creature, the horse.

The

was joining Equicare Company and Eng. Khaled Assem. During this period
of time, Ahmed assisted Khaled importing equestrian products from Europe,
training Ferosia club juniors, producing Horse Times magazine and many
other equestrian activities which put him on the starting line of his
equestrian professional career. Adel Sedky and Morgane Coupet were both
successful at the Egyptian showjumping junior circuit, both were trained
by Ahmed.
1999,
was the first year for Ahmed to travel abroad and explore the
international equestrian scene. Together with Mohamed Khalifa, they
organized their first joint training clinic for juniors in Holland with
the great Dutch Trainer Mr. Arno Neessen. Arno tutored the students, as
well as Ahmed and Mohamed, the disciplined and professional way of
riding. "Arno explained to us every single detail to work with
showjumpers from early age till the Grand Prix level. Hard work is the
basic building block for any kind of success in this sport. It's not
gonna happen by itself like this, you have to work to make it happen" Ahmed says.
This clinic was organized every summer till 2003.

"Larina
was my superstar" Ahmed recalls. "Larina" a KWPN bay mare by the great
sire "Havidoff (Clavecimbel X Farn)", which lead Ahmed to many great victories on the national A
Class. "I still dream to have another generous backbone such as this
unforgettable mare, she always did what I asked her elegantly in a very
classic easy way" Ahmed says.
By the
end of 2002, Ahmed decided to start on his own, providing training sessions, showing showjumpers and supplying imported showjumping horses, which was quiet
successful. Riding for lots of owners and riders, Khaled Tawfik, Mostafa
Samaha, Mohamed Mansour, Ramy Iskandar, Mohamed El Borai and many others, Ahmed was able
to secure his place successfully on the Egyptian showjumping scene,
winning numerous classes from the D Class to the A Class. |

the chance of my lifetime". Ahmed says.
