Training Lessons can be arranged by appointment for riders with abilities ranging from novice to advanced show riders. For those looking to find the right connection with their horse, our aim is to make things simple and clear for both horse and rider.

 

Horseback riding offers the opportunity for unlimited lifelong learning. It is a relationship with another living, feeling creature - one that, like ourselves, may be in a bad mood, be afraid, be touchy, any number of things. Every horse is different. Like any human relationship, there is no end to the potential for that relationship - the beauty and grace of the horse's movement, the partnership between the horse and rider. The basis of our training lessons enables one to continually refine his/her learning and to apply it to a wide variety of horses.
 

Breaking and Schooling of Young Horses

 

The purpose of horse training is not just to make the horse submit to the will of the rider but to enable him to carry a rider with all of the grace and agility that he - as a young horse - can move on his own. Essentially this means developing the weight-carrying strength by time.

 

Horses in our training program are treated as individuals; each horse will have its own time requirements while in training.
